Ever wanted to feel like Tony Stark while riding your motorcycle? Here’s your chance with an Iron Man inspired Honda CB750 café racer!
With only 3,330 original miles and garage kept since it was purchased in 1981, this bike’s pristine condition has noticeably been preserved. But after being taken apart, cleaned, repainted, and systematically redesigned, this bike has been transformed into the perfect ride for Iron Man himself!
Along with an entirely custom paint job, this bike has also had many parts replaced as well as a complete engine tune up. Typical parts like the oil filter and fork seals were replaced along with the valve clearance timing checked. The carburetors were disassembled, cleaned, re-jetted, and synchronized. New Progressive rear shocks were added to adjust the stance and enhance the ride. The body combines a Yamaha XS750 tank and one-of-a-kind fiberglass seat to establish a unique look.
The electronics were adjusted, moved and rewired and/or replaced to give the bike a bold, modern look. The British bucket headlight gives the bike a classic café racer feel without sacrificing the visibility of the integrated LED blinkers. The Vortex clip on handlebars help you hug the tank while you ride and custom Rearsets were made for a more comfortable riding position.
Fresh stainless steel brake lines replaced the old ones along with a modern master cylinder and short racing brake lever. A new 4-1 exhaust system was installed with a stainless steel muffler which has a great rumble when idling and roars when it gets on the throttle. The old tires had solid tread but ultimately had stiffened up; they were replaced with Dunlop 404’s and the rear tire’s width was increased 1 size.
An Air Filter from Cognito Moto has replaced the old bulky air filter. The choke has been moved down to the side of the carbs and ignition hidden underneath the tank to keep the handlebars as clean as possible. A power button in the triple tree turns the ignition coils on and off and glows to let you know if it is running. A modern speedo has a dial tachometer, digital speedometer, neutral, hi/low and blinker indicators.
Also included will be a HJC DOT approved Iron Man helmet to help complete the look.
