Listed for sale is my 1954 BMW r25/3 250cc single cylinder motorcycle. It is still 6v. I bought it several years ago set up as stock with fenders. Unfortunately, someone prior to me cut the elephant ear off the front fender. Over this past winter I decided to have some fun with it. I removed the fenders and put big ole fat tires on it. I sent the carb to Bing to be rebuilt. It has a new coil, battery, condenser, spark plug, new throttle cable, new throttle perch assembly and new grips. The bike comes with tons of extra parts including original front & rear fenders, full gasket set, and original German and English manuals, original paperwork going back to its origins in Germany, import paper work and records of previous owners. I do have cold start, idle and driving videos to share if interested. It usually starts on the first kick. Bike has some small nick’s, but is a very presentable rider. It is light weight and nimble. This bike gets ridden weekly on gravel country roads, grassy fields and paved country roads. I’m a big guy at 6’ 225lbs and have hit 100km, but the sweet spot is 85-90km. I imagine a lighter person or different tuning would get more speed out of the bike. This bike is perfect for backroads or in town riding. I would not take it on the highway. This bike is registered, titled and insured in my name.
