I’m selling my 71 Honda CB175 Cafe Racer. It’s a great looking bike and had around 5000 original miles on it when it was converted to a cafe. It rides and runs well. The twin firing at the same time gives it a unique sound.
It has a lot of new parts including seat, tank, bars, controls, cables, front tire, battery, headlight, tail light, chain, speedo, coil, points, etc. The forks have been rebuilt and it has a custom exhaust and battery box. It has the Kohler regulator/rectifier mod done as well. The frame has been bobbed and shaved. It has standard foot controls but the brackets are there for rear sets if you want to put them on. It doesn’t have mirrors on it right now but I can give you a set of bar end mirrors if you want. It doesn’t have the ends cut out of the grips for them so you can choose to put clamp on mirrors on it instead. I don’t have any clamp on mirrors for it though so it won’t come with them. It also doesn’t have a horn on it. The high/low beam switch is mounted in the headlight shell with an LED indicator for high beam. There is a small button on the ignition switch mount for the starter. It has a side stand and the center stand is still on it as well. It’s easy enough to take the center stand off if you don’t like it but it is really handy for working on the bike.
The carbs are set fairly well but I’m sure they would benefit from some extra tuning and tweaking. That’s part of owning a vintage bike with duel carbs though! The starter works well but occasionally makes some noise. It has a fresh oil change with maybe 3 miles on it. I have a clean and clear Montana title for it.
I have described the bike to the best of my ability. That being said, it’s likely that I have forgotten to add some details so please ask any questions that you have before buying. I’m more than happy to answer anything that I can or send additional photos. I’m happy to help a shipper load it but it is entirely up to the buyer to setup and pay for shipping.
I’m willing to consider reasonable offers. Please don’t bother with lowballs though as they just waste everyone’s time. Thanks.
The bike is used and as such has normal wear and tear on it. It is sold as is where is with no expressed or implied warranties. All sales are final and returns are not accepted.
