1972 Harley Davidson XLH Sportster

1972 Harley Davidson XLH Sportster, electric start. This XLH Sportster is near all original. I purchased this bike from a younger man whose Grand Father owned it and passed away. The older man had the bike for many,many years and took very good care of it.The speedo shows 7837 miles and that may be original miles, but I can’t confirm that. Numbers matching frame and motor. The title was lost when I got the bike and had to have a Title Service issue a new title for it. The title will be in the name of the title service and not mine.If this is an issue, please do not bid on this bike.The condition of the bike is awesome for it being 49 years old. It was repainted (by original owner) and a new decals applied. The paint condition on the gas tank is very good. The overall paint condition is good but has some issues like,scratchs, and chips. The exhaust pipes look like the original ‘ slip – on’ types but are new reproduction. The bike has new Avon tires front and back that look great on the high shouldered aluminum rims. The bike starts and drives excellent. ALL electric components are in working order as well as the charging system. The taillight is factory / OEM but has a crack in the plastic lens.The headlight is also OEM.The bike has no aftermarket chrome applied. The engine case’s look great and looks as if they were never taken apart judging from the factory screws to secure them.
