1972 Suzuki T350 Cafe Racer
It was a daily rider for a few months, but has been mostly sitting with short rides over the last year. There has been a ton of work done to this bike. I’ll do my best to list everything:
– Engine disassembled, cleaned, all new rubber, new piston rings, reassembled -Engine polished and fins painted black with engine paint-New kick start gear-New petcock, no leaks-All new fuel lines and filters-Carbs rebuilt with new gaskets and rejetted-Pod filters-New spark plugs-New crank shaft seal-D&G expansion chamber exhaust with custom flanges (some oxidation and dings, but working perfectly)-New pirelli tires front and rear-Painted wheel rims and hubs, respoked-Front and rear drum brakes taken apart, cleaned, reassembled -Painted front fender-Painted fork tubes-Old style fork tube covers-Painted headlight bucket, new bulb-4 new cat eye turn signals (working)-Rear stop light (working)-Single Mount Speedo (working)-New clip on handlebars-New headlight, turn signal, horn, and kill switch (all working)-Custom Painted tank, which was cleaned and sealed-Painted frame, rear cut for cafe seat mount-Custom cafe seat with orange and white racing stripe-Small 12v battery hidden under seat-Automatic oil feeder (working)
Everything is in working order. But, this is a 50 year old two stroke, so it’s got some blemishes and it requires an owner who is mechanical.
It starts on the first few kicks, will idle fine with some adjustments to the air screw, and will ride fine as well. But, sometimes it wants to bog down at higher rpms. In order for this bike to run at it’s full potential, it will need someone to adjust carb settings and possibly change some of the jets.
This motorcycle is for sale in Carlsbad, CA. The buyer is responsible to arrange their own shipping, though I’m happy to help load the bike with transit company. I also have a motorcycle hitch rack that I will throw in if someone would like to purchase locally.
