1974 Triumph T120V. Pretty rare bike. Aprox 273 ever made. From the factory with the upgrades of the 750 engine. ie, triplex primary chain, un-drilled 10 bolt head and 5 speed transmission.
When I purchased the bike the previous owner said the engine was rebuilt. I have no reason not to believe this is not true. At that time it did have push in exhaust, that I did not like, so had the head professionally machined to allow for spigot exhaust to be used.At the same time I rebuilt the carburators. I then had the tank and seat painted blue and silver, re-build the brakes (front and rear) and forks, put new tires on, new wiring harness, moved the battery to under the seat, made center mount speedo gauge bracket, new HL shell, front fender, all new wheel bearings…. and the list goes on.
As you will see in the pictures. The engine is awesome. Polished cases!!! Nice black accent covers. There are small chips, scrapes in paint on bike, but she is not a trailer queen. She’s made to ride. Of all my bikes this one has always been the most reliable. She can sit for 6 months. Put a charger on her and will start 95% of time on 1st kick, by 2nd always.
What I would do if I were to keep her? Cad plating on spokes is almost gone. So they are a bit rusty. So at minimum I would replace with SS spokes, but if I was going to go through that I would get her a new set of aluminum rims too. I have a set of SS spokes I will include in the auction.
This is a get on and go bike, you need nothing but a smile. Clear title in my name. Please ask questions. Look at pictures as they are part of the description. All sales final. 500.00 non-refundable deposit do with in 24hrs. Buyer responsible for pick up or to make arrangements for shipping. I can hold the bike for a while for pick up but full payment must be made with in one week, unless we agree to other terms.
