I’m selling my beautifully restored 1976 Honda CB550F. The restoration was completed a few weeks ago by me personally and the bike is ready to go to a good home for some solid summer and fall riding. Every inch of this bike has been restored and a non-exhaustive list is below. All new paint, including frame, engine, and all body partsOriginal tank (in outstanding condition), cleaned and lined with Kreem liner, and new chrome gas cap and mounting rubberFour-into-one exhaust (not overly loud but is fairly deep)Tail modification to give a flat clean look — including custom rear cowl and integrated LED lights/turn signals.Brand new Dime City leather seat. Link here: https://www.dimecitycycles.com/brown-dcc-originals-ribbed-rustic-leather-wrapped-cafe-racer-motorcycle-seat.htmlAbsolutely no visible electronics. All neatly tucked under the seat. New Micro Shorai batteryCleaned and rebuilt engine and carbs (synched and jetted for pods/exhaust). All seals, rings, head and bottom gaskets, etc. are new. Obviously, also a new oil filer/seal and new oil filter bolt. New K&N podsRewired main harness with fresh heat-shrink tubingNew regulator/rectifier comboNew starter solenoidNew turn signal relayNew coils, spark plug wires, and spark plugsNew brake lines and bleeder valveNew reservoir-style rear shocksNew tachometer and speedometerNew billet triple tree upperNew left and right switchesNew grips and throttle tubeNew brake lever and master cylinder/controlNew matching clutch lever/controlNew clip on handlebarsNew short throttle cables (for low bars)New and custom rear-setsNew mirrorsNew fuel linesNearly all new nuts/bolts/hardwareAs you can see, this is essentially a brand new bike with a clean and classic look. It runs absolutely perfectly and the off-white tank looks so sharp on the matte black frame and motor. Nearly every new part came from 4into1, DimeCity, or CognitoMoto, all of which sell good, quality parts. If I were going to keep it, the only modification I would consider is new classic-style tires like these: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/shinko-240-classic-tires . People have strong opinions on tires, I’ve discovered, so I left this up to the new owner.
