We are super excited to offer this 1976 Rickman CR750 for sale. This is a true cafe racer. The bike was built in the seventies by the Rickman brothers in England. The design brief was to take the reliable and powerful CB750 engine and give it a more capable and better handling chassis. The hand built nickle plated Reynolds 531 frame is a thing of beauty, and exudes craftsmanship. This is a very different bike then your standard CB750 and utilized different forks, wheels, brakes, rear shocks, body kit, etc… Basically the only parts left over from your standard 750 were the electrics, gauges, and of course the engine. This bike is in a running state, and actually runs quite well. But it does need a full restoration. Things that we noticed were the windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced, left side panel is also cracked, many body fasteners are incorrect, rear brake is going to need a full rebuild, wiring harness should be replaced, some of the chrome on the engine needs to be redone, front rim has a dent, etc… Once again, the bike needs work to be rideable. However the most important parts are in quite nice shape. Frame looks great, and it does come with the chain adjusters. Fork, bars, gauges, exhaust, controls, all the plastic with exception of the left cover are in nice shape. With how well the motor ran and the general condition of the bike we believe the mileage is correct. This will be an amazing project for for the right person, and the values of these bikes are steadily increasing. Engine number is CB750-1089512. Please message us with any questions.
We ship bikes world wide all the time and can help you out with crating and arranging shipping.
