Selling my absolutely beautiful, reliable and mostly original Honda 1978 GL1000. Yes, it is a Goldwing! Everything on it works 100%, including the fuel gauge which typically no longer works on these first model Goldwings. It is in very good to excellent condition. It still has the factory break-in sticker on the odometer! The bike is located in WA state.
It has been my daily rider since the weather has gotten good (I’ve put 2000+ miles on it since February) and it has not once let me down or given me any problems. It has approximately 19,000 miles on it. It has new timing belts, new oil and oil filter, new brakes, new tires, and new ignition points. The seat, handlebars, grips, brake light and rear turn signals are after market. You could keep them that way or return them to the original. I have the original seat and tail light with me that can go with the bike.
It is technically a liter bike, and it cruises just fine at highway speeds. It’s not as heavy to handle as you might think, and it is relatively low to the ground.
