I had a great time building this totally stock bike into a cafe racer. When I received the bike it had low miles and the engine ran well. I have transformed and refurbished everything except the motor. This bike runs great, handles incredibly well and is a lot of fun to ride! Below is a listing of the many customizations and fabrications completed: I have pictures of the journey building this bike from start to finish. Every part and bolt were cleaned or replaced. The original speedometer had 4234 miles. The valves were adjusted. New gaskets on all covers. The frame has been de-tabbed and powder coated as well as the swingarm. The battery box and seatpan were custom made. New coil, wires and plug covers. Custom wiring replaced the stock harness. Two Mikuni VM34 Carbs replaced the stock BS38s. K&N pods. New clutch. Front and rear calipers cleaned and painted. New brake pads front and rear. The tank, seatpan and badges were custom painted. The diamond pattern seat was custom made. Every bearing has been replaced ie., steering head, swingarm, front and rear wheels. The engine was painted. Stainless steel engine bolts were used. All covers were powder coated as well as the rims, wheel hubs, gas cap, breather, kick stand and kick starter. The exhaust is custom and wrapped. The front forks were rebuilt, the lowers were powder coated, fork boots were added and new shocks for the rear. New tires and stainless steel spokes. New front and rear sprockets and gold chain. New hand controls, master cylinder and levers on painted clip on bars. Acewell 3904 digital speedometer/odometer. Custom turn signals, headlight and brake light/license plate holder.
