1980 Honda CX500. This is the one I call the Super Cafe. It’s the perfect choice of weapon for the inner city battle. Light, agile, plenty of power. Seating is very comfortable. Along with the motocross handlebars and new sport-type tires, the bike has an extremely responsive feel while carving through traffic. Bike should pass inspection in any, if not all, states. Has full blinker system. Actually has a double setup in the back, as seen in one of the pics. High/low beam, horn, brake light/running light and mini Emgo speedo.
I also installed an oil pressure gauge for added reliability. I am currently running a 55 psi line, but I have ordered a higher psi rated line, because when the bike starts cold, it usually idles around 80 psi. Then, when warm, it gets within the 50 psi range. The line currently installed is working as it should, but the higher rated line would be insurance. If I get the line in time, I will install. If not, I will forward it to the new owner.
As seen in pics, a lot of attention to detail. New brakes, new brake line, carbon fiber exhaust, foam air pods, sealed CCA130 battery. The list goes on an on.
We have dealt with various shippers in the past, and can pass along shipping information to Buyer. Shipping costs usually vary between $300 to $600, depending on delivery location. Can be a little more or a little less, depending on distance, available space on truck, and weather conditions. Can hold bike after sale for up to 30 days, if needed, to allow Buyer time to arrange shipping. If Buyer needs more than 30 days, we will be glad to easily work something out for extended storage. Bike will be stored indoors.
