Up for auction is this Show Winning, Magazine Featured 1983 Yamaha Virago 920. It has been completely customized into a cafe racer style motorcycle by MotoRelic Custom Cycles in Hamilton VA. Featured in Cafe Racer Magazine (issue #42 Dec/Jan 2016). The stand out modification to this bike is the fully stainless 2 into 1 exhaust that snakes its way through the one of a kind subframe. The engine sound barks from the undertail Yoshimura muffler. An all steel, hand made cafe racer tail piece tops it off. The gas tank is from an xs750 and has been retunneled to fit the crazy virago frame. Modified stock front front and rear shock give the bike a great feel while carving through the back roads. A fork brace was made to keep flex to a minimum. Using the stock wheels, MotoRelic fabricated aluminum wheel inserts to add a bit of style. As you can see in the pictures the tail light is one of a kind. It is made from a KZ400 piston that has had the top cast from red resin. An LED bulb lights it up. The headlight is a repro V-Rod style. The shifting and rear braking is handled by custom rear sets and foot controls. Every part has either been painted, powder coated, cleaned or replaced. Stock carbs have been cleaned and rejetted to work with the custom air filter and exhaust. All power comes from a hidden Shorai 210amp lith battery. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!
