1987 BMW K100RS Motorsport Edition Cafe Racer Build

This is a very special bike, and the build was done very cleanly and looks factory. It being a motorsport edition, it is very rare and has the motorsport colors on it. I am a BMW enthusiast and it was a great addition to my other vintage BMWs. Very unique, I have not seen another build like it. This bike gets a TON of attention, and if you are a vintage BMW enthusiast, it will go perfectly with your 80s/90s BMW collection. It runs beautifully, and I would not hesitate to ride across the country on it. I need surgery on my knee next month and I will not be able to ride for a very long time, so this should go to someone who has time to enjoy it.

– Custom shortened stock tail

– Custom GP style stainless exhaust
– Lowered with clip on bars
– Front fairing added, retains stock gauges

– The fuel level gauge does not work (simple fix, common K-series problem)- The Gear Indicator sensor is broken, also a very common K-series problem. It doesn’t affect the bikes ability to shift gears, it just displays “4” instead of “N”, and the other gears are incorrect as well.

I did not build the bike myself, I bought it as is aside from the exhaust. I do not have any service records for the bike, and the mileage is ESTIMATED at 50k, per the previous owner. The gauge cluster only has 73 miles on it, I barely rode it after buying it from the previous owner. When I bought the bike it had 10 miles on the cluster, and was rebuilt by the previous owner.
