This is my 1990 BMW K75S Custom that seems to need a sensor to run. I was riding it one day as i had many days before, and it just quit on me. I tried to restart but it wouldn’t stay running. Here is a youtube video of what it is doing.
I believe a sensor of some sort has gone bad. Judging by my research on its symptoms, it needs the Hall Effect Sensor (HES) replaced. If that’s not the issue it’s a fuel pressure regulator or the temperature sensor. As you can see the engine turns over fine and even runs momentarily but will not stay running. There is nothing wrong with any major components. Engine, trans, clutch, brakes, driveshaft, etc are all sound. The issue is minor, but i don’t have the time to look into it so i’m selling it cheap. (money going toward down payment on new bike)

This bike has been a blast to build/ ride. I’m sure the running issue is minor.
