BMW R-Series . Items of note – This is a well sorted out bike – I do not build them for people I build them for myself, work every thing out and test extensively. Equipment: Stiffened frame with modern adjustable (rebound and compression) WP open chamber 48/60 upside down forks (note Hendersen custom triple clamps) with modern GS (with hydraulic disc brake) center mount Ohlins adjustable shock (preload, rebound and compression) SWT adapter utilized. Suspension set up by SuperPlush in SF (set up for a 225 lbs person).  Dual plug motor (more power, less emissions and allows cheap fuel to be run without motor damage), heads reworked by Ted Porter’s, 450 Watt EME alternator, fully programmable (alarm, signals, etc etc) Moto Gadget electrics, with M-Button handlebar simplification (dead reliable German device that eliminates the fuses, all relays and simplifies electrics (for expedition travel ALL extras are the size of a deck of cards)). Custom electrical harness with every connector greased and secured. Siebenrock GS (Acewell) Speedo/odo. Cyclops brand LED Headlight with amber low beam lens and focused spot high beam. Custom 6061 aluminum subframe and luggage rack accommodates a Wolfman top case and soft panniers. Eric McCallum (House of Fubar custom exhaust system) – this is the second I have done and the initial bike (same design) has been all over the western US including COBDR and the North part of the CABDR. It weighs about 365 lbs dry. It may be the perfect bike. It will carve Highway 1 and take the Saline Valley washboard. (Ugh) I do not build these for profit – I just want to start another (keeps me out of the bars). Let me know if you want more info. The bike has a current CA registration in my name. Happy bidding!
