The TRON Bike… Pierre Terblanche’s probably best design, ahead of its time, the Sport classic aircooled bike. Been privileged enough to own one, now its time to pass it on.
Im the 2nd owner of this hard to find bike since 2013. Previously owned by a motorcycle instructor and Ducati employee here in Miami, older gentleman that put most miles and took excellent care. Bike had 29k miles then, so basically driven less than 600 miles/year under my watch. Meticulously maintained by Ducati mechanic at UniqueSBK in Miami (MV Agusta/ Aprilia dealer). Runs and performs flawlessly, torquey. The sound coming from the hard to source termignoni cans is amazing. There are several tasteful Rizoma racing components sprinkled througout, including GP style shifter, valve covers, adjustable rearsets, and carbon pieces. The seat is black suede with Ducati Red double stitching which compliments the bike very nicely.
Major service, including valve adjustment and belts. New voltage regulator New Clutch New Battery All of the above performed less than 1000 miles ago (have all receipts) As pictures show, the bike is in excellent condition for its age and mileage. There are a few blemishes that are noticeable on the pics provided. There is a scratch on rear swingarm from the bike stand. Theres also a scratch on the white stripe on the tank from the stabilizer rubbing against it at one point because of tank expansion (ethanol), a very common issue on these bikes. This has been addressed by draining the tank of all fuel and letting it sit for over 6 months allowing it to contract back to normal. Been using non ethanol gasoline since.
Theres also 2 chips on the front fork from small road rocks/debris, but they are low enough that will not reach the seals under heavy braking. The bike includes an interchangeable biposto seat, a manual, 3 sets of keys and the code card. I will also include the bike stand. Im selling because I obviously do not ride it much and its a damn shame. Any questions please feel free to ask. Three O 5 seven 25 four four six six. I reserve the right to end this listing early as I also have the bike listed locally and at several bike shops.
