Custom built BMW airhead R80 just finished and in great running / riding condition.
I can also potentially make some modifications to bike for the buyer is desired. Paint color / tank design / seat / handlebars / exhaust could be fairly easily swapped out for different design. I do have more bikes I am working on as well.

If you happen to like the bike but are not completely in to some of the details, thats totally understandable. The whole point of a bike like this is to ride something unique / different. Im happy to talk about making modifications to make it something dialed in for the new buyer.
Local buyers encouraged to come see and test ride the bike in person.
Any non local buyers I am happy to send pictures and/or video of whatever you would like to see.
SHIPPING: Im happy to assist with the shipper of your choice. I can also provide a “shipped to your door” price where I make all of the arrangements and have the bike dropped off at your house. If you want to look into shipping yourself, highly suggest looking into “uship” they also do free instant price estimates to get a ballpark on cost.
This bike has had an extensive amount of work done recently. It was completely disassembled, frame/ engine separated. Engine inspected, cleaned and re-sealed, frame was completely re finished and re installed in frame and then the fun began. There were a lot of brand new and custom made parts installed. It has a repaired salvaged title, meaning it was once in an accident and then was repaired inspected and re-registered in California. This registers just like a clean title here in NV and I believe in most states as well. Again it has been repaired and inspected, there is no frame damage. These bikes are easily deemed “salvage” because of the high cost of replacement cosmetic parts. This was all prior to being customized.
The fuel tank is a 1 off design, brand new steel tank sealed with Caswells. The tank was painted BMW “Citrin Black Metallic” that they use on some of there newer M series cars. This is by far my favorite black, and is covered in 3 coats of Summit Racing high Gloss clear it really has a nice deep look to it.
Here are a few other little details off the top of my head:
Started off with a low mileage 1984 BMW R80. I inspect all bikes prior to purchasing them and make sure they are well serviced / and kept. There is no point in starting a build like this with a worn out unkept airhead. Re-wired for new handlebar controlsFactory distribution / fuse block moved from headlight to under tankNew Custom subframe for seat madeNew Hand Tooled fatigued leather seat installedNew LED tail light with turn signals installedNew Led headlight with high/ low beam installedNew Clip on handlebars installedNew handlebar gripsNew clutch lever New brake master cylinder, brake lever, stainless steel linesNew High end rear adjustable shocks built to custom spec installed Front forks serviced and lowered to match rear ride heightNew kickstandCenter stand modified for new heightetc etc etc….
This bike has functioning turn signals, the rears are integrated into brake light, the front signals were not installed in pics but I have them and will be installing for new buyer. There are several options to choose from and I haven’t made the choice on which to use yet so may leave that to the buyer.
I am also including Bar end mirrors installed for the new owner.
There are lots of little things that make this bike special and I could spend half the day making a list of them, but the main thing is the overall design. The lines, the colors, the form, the function are all spot on in my eyes.
Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions!
