I am selling my BMW R26 project. I had every intention of restoring the bike but after moving and starting a new job I can’t find the time for all my projects. What you see is what you get, most of the large pieces are here, but some of the trimmings are not. Notable missing pieces are the cylinder head, handle bars, and seat tee.  I rebuilt the engine and transmission, replacing seals, bearings and gaskets. I had a head for it but it was stolen out of mail. I still have the rest of the top end parts, just no what to assemble them (rockers, valves, rods, domes, and carburator **PICTURED**). The engine turns over and kicks through, I tried to show the piston in different positions in the pictures. The transmission changes gears and is connected to the rear wheel via the drive shaft. The last part of the engine that needs work is the electrical components, some of which are in the totes that will be sold along with the motorcycle. All parts are currently loosly assembled onto the frame, but it is a rolling chasis.  The engine number matches the information tag on the goose neck. I have a stainless steel hardware kit that will also go with the bike, containing most of the hardware needed for complete assembly, it is not pictured.

The buyer is responsible for the shipping. I have shipped using Fastenal in the past and think that might be a good option for shipping. I can also deliver to the Davenport swap meet at the end of August.
If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures please ask. If you would like to talk over the phone about the motorcycle or shipping options please send me a message and I will reply with my phone number. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

*** I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE FOR THE MOTORCYCLE.*** (Ebay requires me to put something in the title section)
