Like New, Just finished build. Built as a street legal trials/scrambler. Starting at the top, the top yoke was replaced for an aluminum late 50’s type complete with correct stem nut and fork caps, Correct Smith speedo and amp meter, metal speedo drive at wheel with grease fitting, late 50’s headlight with light switch (off-on-high), late 50’s headlight mount, late 50’s bars as are the levers, choke and decompress levers are Amal, throttle housing and even the grips are Amal, new correct English cables , reproduction of original works aluminum gas tank with Monza cap, aluminum fenders with new braces front and rear, new high exhaust, new Armstrong shocks, late 50’s battery holder, late 50’s tool box with flat lid, new leather seat,new late 50’s licence plate holder with Lucas light, metal 50’s air pump, new small block tires (tubes changed also), new chain. New Amal monobloc carb, 50’s tappet cover, right side shift conversion done with sealed bearings, new shift lever along with rear brake lever, new late 50’s large oval foot rests, factory works engine guard/strike plate (patterned from an original). Engine oil and filter just changed with Castrol GTX, gear box filled with Royal Purple yellow metal safe full synthetic gear oil, primary with Mobil 1 V-Twin synthetic for wet clutch. Bike will have a new tall battery with cover in the next few days (battery in picture was for test run only), Total miles are 4,300 only 2.5 miles after build finish. This bike is kick start only and is as close to a late 50’s early 60’s as you can get. Starts first kick, shifts smooth.
