This bike was purchased from the original owner with 13,339 original miles on it. When I got it, it hadn’t been started in over 20 years, it only sat in the corner of a garage under a bike cover. The bike was all original when I purchased it and well maintained for its age.
I decided to do a Fat Tail Cafe Racer style conversion to the bike.
The bike has been infused with modern technology from a 2001 GSXR 750 which I also purchased as a complete running bike with low mileage. The Honda was stripped down to the frame and every single factory component minus the frame and engine has been changed. The rest of the parts you see are either from the GSXR, custom made from scratch, or expensive aftermarket stuff. The frame was slightly reworked to accept the major components from the GSXR, but mostly is all within factory geometry and spec.
Starting from the ground up, the frame was degreased, blasted, and powder coated for maximum durability. Same treatment was given to the engine covers and miscellaneous accessories on the motor. The motor was gone through to make sure everything was in spec and working properly. Fresh fluids, compression check, valve check, new clutch, and everything brought back into factory spec. The engine was then repainted black and placed back into the frame.
The mods/parts list for this bike is very extensive and I’m sure I won’t be able to list everything. I however have many receipts for this bike which I will provide to the new owner. Here is a partial list of what’s on the bike:

Bike has been repainted with silver paint which has a purple pearl in the clear coat
I’m sure I missed some things but for the most part everything else you see is directly from the GSXR and was modified to work with the factory and aftermarket parts. For example the headlight flash button now controls the gauges. When you press the button it allows you to cycle through and select items in the gauge menus.
I will never get my money back from this bike and I don’t intend to. At this point I have too many projects and need to make room in my shop, so unfortunately this one has to go. I really just want someone to take it who will appreciate it and not trash it, it is one of my favorite bikes. I have the pink slip in hand and the bike is fully registered and ready to be ridden.
