This is a legitimate “barn find” although it was a storage unit, and the guy who had it built is still around.
We pulled this out of its storage, and washed off the dust, wiped it down, and that’s how you see it here. Some of the build info we know –
Motor Turns over and has compression, but we did NOT try to start it. When people say “way too much to list” this is one of those bikes.
Hand built frame, nickel plated, looks similar to a Rickman. Could be, we couldn’t find a tag to say one way or the other.
Hand hammered aluminum fuel tank, tail section and side plates – Fantastic paint, and engine turning on parts. Clip-on gave the tank a small dinger, see pics.
Tomaselli Clip on’s. Bitchin short turn throttle.
TONS of anodized gold parts. Brake hangers, brake holder tube, Brake Carriers, etc.
Mag Wheels – unsure of brand.
Aircraft parts throughout – Tach (suspended) Fuel Filler, etc.
AP Lockheed Rear Caliper
A SUPER rare ARD Magneto
Every stainless bolt has been turned and tapered and polished
Removable Kick stand, (you twist it apart and stash it in your jacket!)
I know I’m missing a bunch of stuff. you can see it in the pics.
You want a REAL Cafe Racer, this is it. All your buddies with their new “Cafe” racers cant hold a CANDLE to this monster. Obviously no expense was spared in the build.
It has not been registered since 1983.
