Up for sale is the product of a years hard work, blood, sweat and tears. This is my custom built DOHC 1981 Honda CB750K. This is a complete frame off custom restoration of an original 11k mile bike. No expense spared and totally one off design.
The bike was completely disassembled and the frame was blasted to bare metal. Cut the fat and welded a Dime City Cycles Upswept Cafe Hoop then cleared frame w epoxy clear coat. King tank is from a 1978 CB750 and was also taken to bare metal and clear coated giving the bike a clean industrial look.
Front end was converted to a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 750 black inverted fork. Entire fork was inspected, seals changed, new caliper bolts and signed off on by the techs at Suzuki of Mineola. New brake pads were installed along w a new Brembo Front Master Cylinder and ABM reservoir.
All front fork conversion parts are from the guys at Cognito Moto including new stem, bearings, races, custom fabricated top triple tree, riser, nut and clamp w frenched in MotoGadget MotoScope Mini and Sign. Tracker bars and Torker grips by Biltwell.
The rear hub was dismantled and new bearings were installed, shoes were replaced and the wheel was relaced w a Sun 4.25″ wheel to accommodate new wider rubber. Front and Rear tires are Michelin Pilot Powers. F 120/70/17 & R 160/60/17. Hub and spokes were sent to Cognito for satin black powder, lacing and truing and Sun wheel is black anodized.
Rear suspension was upgraded to 14.5″ Progressive Suspension Shocks. Tail light converted to Triumph Daytona L.E.D. w integrated turn signals. New BMXR 530 Gold Chain and SunStar front and rear sprockets. Carpy 4 into 1 DOHC exhaust w handwrapped headers. SpeedMotoCo headlight brackets custom fabbed to tuck stock headlight. Cycle X Tach Plug and Rear Brake Strap. Starter relay and AntiGravity 12 Cell Lithium Ion Battery by Revival Cycles. L.E.D. front turn signals.
Bike was entirely rewired and new harness was made to accommodate Motogadget hardware. List includes M-Unit, MotoScope, MotoSign Mini, M-Button, M-Switch Left & Right and M-Lock RFID reader.
The carbs were professionally rebuilt and tuned by Cycle Concepts in Freeport. Ultrasonically cleaned and rejetted using a DynaJet Stage III kit. New accelerator pump, floats and needles. Bike starts on first kick, sounds great and runs strong. Final step is seat upholstery and i added a pic of the sample material.
The list goes on but you get the idea. Top of the line build w the latest technology. This bike stands out from the crowd. Yes it’s expensive but I challenge you to build this for less. I must have over 150 man hours into this project and close to the asking price in cost of bike and material wo my time.
I will entertain any serious offers but please no low ball nonsense. Don’t waste my time or yours. I built this bike without a budget. Just want to see it go to the right person who appreciates the time and effort. Thanks for looking.
