The bike has some history to it.Originally this bike’s alloy frame was manufactured for flat track racing by a company in Oregon call “Wasco” in the late 60,s early 70s. This alloy frame is 006 of 10. Wasco is still in business today manufacturing road racing frames. (They have a website). The bike was purchased originally in the 70s by a Hollywood stunt director named Hal Needham for movie stunt jumping, not flat track racing. (Google Hal Needham). As I understand it was there back up bike. It was a flat tracker design when I purchased it some 15 years ago.I converted it to Cafe style by simply changing out the handle bars, tires and rear shocks. Still have the original, tires, handlebars and shock that would go with the bike. The bike runs excellent and generally fires off on the first kick. It’s a hard little rider and my 76 year old butt just doesn’t want to deal with that anymore. Getting Old Sucks!!! The engine is from a 1967 650cc Bonneville, original to the alloy frame, with a 2Qt. oil tank mounted original to the frame, just behind the engine unlike the Rickman’s frame that holds less oil in the frame. It has Mikuni twin carbs, Harmon and Cardin cams, Bennett clutch, new electronic ignition, Shorai Lithium battery, along with Borrani aluminum rims, Ceriani front forks, front and rear disc brakes. The gas tank and rear seat mount are original fiberglass. And the front fender is fiberglass also. The paint is excellent except for a small stress crack near the rear tail light mount. The bike can’t weight much more than 200Lbs. so it’s very responsive and very fun to ride. I saved the best for last… NO OIL LEAKS!!! Good luck bidding and any additional info. email me. Corky
