1978/79 Yamaha XS750. This was the European Café model. I believe it was the F or E Series. They supposedly were geared better and carbureted better and were actually a whole second faster than the Custom in the 1/4 mile. Has a very cool scrambler look. Reminds me of the yellow Ducati scramblers back in the late 60s. Bike has been pared down quite a bit. Very lightweight, easy to maneuver, and fast. This is the kickstart model. It has a good working electric start, but I did not hook it up. My goal was to keep the bike with a spartan look. Bike has working headlight, tail light, blinkers and horn. Please view video of the bike’s functions and running.
Please note, bike kicks up dust from the headers. They’re street sweeper style. So, as you see it going down the road or revving in one spot, it’s just having a good time kicking up a little dust.
