Auction is for a custom-built 1973 Honda CB750/836 Big Bore SOHC restomod bike.This is a one-off, custom built bike. There is not and will not be another one like this made!

The good stuff!
Clean, clear North Carolina title in handEngine has been regasketed.  Bike has 836 kit fitted with Cometic head gasketCarbs have been cleaned, synched and jetted and floats have been replaced with plastic upgradeHas new friction plates in clutch- steels were in good shape.Cylinder head has new intake valve seals. Head is K0 or early K1 and has no exhaust valve stem seals. Head has had light work done to it.Intake boots have been replaced.Bike has new throttle cables fitted.Clutch cable is new.Has new right and left controls.Bike has been fitted with larger 750F tank, including external fuel gauge (bung plugs will be included if you want to block it off) and new petcock. Fuel line has been replacedStator is in good condition and voltage regulator is new. Bike has Ballistic lithium battery installed and is charging great.Rear frame has been custom built for single-sided shock. Battery tray is hand-made.Oil tank has been relocated to tail section under handmade rear cowl.Oil lines have been replaced and oil pump has been rebuilt.External oil pressure gauge has been fitted to the right side of the engine and shows solid 50-60psi when running      (has to be upright as angle on sidestand tilts oil away from pump on right side)Wire harness has been modified to eliminate unnecessary wires.Has new chain and sprockets and is at stock tooth count for motor and wheel donor bikesAll brake lines are steel-braidedAttention-getting oversized stock headlight is still on bike, but 2 LED lights have been mounted and wired to           provide ample nightime lightDigital speedo has been calibrated for accurate vehicle speed and tach is functional (gear position and fuel level are not)Ignition is done with a car-type key. You have to turn it to start it and kill switch has been removed. (just turn off the key) Great theft protection!4-into-1 wrapped headpipe is fitted into a Basani muffler (does have light scrapping on very bottom)Engine is fitted with an oil coolerNew Dynatek electronic ignition on the bike (original ignition plate and rotor are included)CB1100 ignition coils fittedNew plug wires and capsBike has new Shinko front tire and good Continental rear fittedEngine has new upgraded cam chain tensioner and guideMotor is fitted with an Andrews cam (OEM camshaft in good useable shape is included)OX Motorcycle carb stabilizer bracket has been installed
Modified parts fitted on bike-Front and rear wheels and front brake calipers are from a 2007 GSX-R 750  Swingarm and rear brake caliper are from a 2012 Ninja 650      (has been professionally machined to receive GSX-R axle and spacers)     (had aluminum spacers made/fitted with brass bushings to allow proper fitment on frame without modification)Triple trees are from a 2007 GSX-R 1000 and have been fitted with a Cognito Moto stem and All Balls bearingsFront forks have been professionally rebuilt and are from a 2007 GSX-R 1000Handlebars are from an Indian Scout and have been fitted with risersRear shock is from a Victory Gunner and provides ample adjustment for rider weightRearsets are from a Yamaha FZ-07 and had custom shifter made (GP style, 1 up, 4 down)
The bad stuff.
The bike has no horn or turn signals, so please check local registration laws. The speedo fuel gauge flashes empty as there is no sending unit to provide a level signal.There are a few marks here and there (fork tube, battery tray from key chain)Starter one-way will need to be replaced somewhere down the lineKickstart arm hits right foot peg about half stroke, but is functionalBike does smoke a bit at start-up due to no exhaust valve seals (see description below)There is a small crack in the engine case at the bottom of the points compartment (please see photos in listing)
The 1st full service will be completed before the bike leaves my possession.
I put a LOT of hard work into this bike and have tried to include everything I can think of. I will update the listing with anything else I think of. Please understand this is not only a custom build but also a classic (old) carbureted bike, so if you are not familiar with some of those quirks, this may not be the ride for you. This engine requires regular maintenance/service.
I will be riding this bike until time of sale as it is a really fun ride!This bike is also for sale locally, so auction may end at any time. If you have any questions please ask before bidding as all sales are final. Shipping or pickup is the responsibility of the winning bidder.
