1968 Bonneville

You are bidding on a 1968 Triumph Bonneville. This bike was built to run in WERA road racing in the 500GP class. It was entered in a race by the builder and never raced it but due to the builder’s health issues and he decided to end his racing career. I saw the builder’s garage and he was a true craftsman, having built several hot rods and bikes.  He built some beautiful machines.

I bought it four years ago and converted it to a street bike.  I have not ridden it much due to my health problems. At age 72 I can’t handle a kick start, and the vibration aggravates my arthritis.   You can see a young man running the bike in the videos taken on July 10, 2021.  That was the last time the bike was run.

The numbers match.

I have a good title in my name.
