This 1972 Honda CL350 has been thoughtfully built with a host of desirable features and upgrades. The CL350 was the scrambler variant of the CB350 and many racers prefer theCL350 engine for its lighter weight (lack of electric start) and shorter gearing. CL350s also have a 19 inch front wheel. This example is fitted with a gorgeous custom fiberglass tank and seat. I had the tank repainted and customized in the style of the Ducati 750SS Imola race bikes, which had an unpainted vertical strip to allow you to view the fuel level. The seat was done by NYC master motorcycle seat artisan Corinna Mantlo of Via Meccanica in suede, in the style of the 60s Honda race bikes. The front fender was done by Tim Harney, another great name in Brooklyn custom bike building.
For the controls, the bike features an aluminum top triple tree and clip-ons, as well as custom aluminum rear sets. It features Hagon rear shocks and a PMFR steering dampener with a fork clamp mount.
In terms of mechanical components, it is set up with Mikuni VM30 carburetors with K&N cone air filters, a custom exhaust made from the headers/front bend of the originalCL350 exhaust, Rick’s stator and Charlie’s Place ignition. It has an AGM battery in a custom holder fabricated by Scott at Moto preserve in Brooklyn. We also outfitted the bike with a nice LED brake light and turn signal strip that is mounted to the tail of the bike with a bracket made by Scott. All work was done through Northeast Sportscar. Tires are basically brand new with very few miles on them.
Bike is sold as is. Sold on bill of sale, no title available. I will be available to assist with shipping. Thanks
