1980 BMW R80 Cafe Racer

1980 BMW R80 Cafe Racer / Bobber with matching numbers. 39k original miles but after it was rebuilt only about 25 km were ridden. Built by MOTOW, a custom bike shop in Dallas, Texas. A complete rebuild, with the following modifications: Custom TIG welded shock seat bracket; Biltwell 2 seat bolted to the seat frame with a formed tube section,Motone gas cap in polished aluminum. Integrated LED strip fit neatly at the back of seat, 440mm rear shocks custom length. Lots of powder coating, flat and semi-gloss black. Rim are brushed aluminum. Bing Carburetors polished and rebuilt with K&N Air pods. Enduralast 450w upgraded charging system with Revival MOSFET Single Phase permanent Lithium Regulator charging a 8-cell Antigravity lithium battery in a custom made battery tray under the transmission. Shinko E-270 tires front and rear. Universal cone mufflers on stock exhaust headers, ceramic coated black. Custom license plate mount. Tiny aftermarket analog speedometer. The heart of the electrical system is controlled by the Motogadget M-unit Blue hidden underneath the tank, complete with a custom wiring harness. The m-button and associated controls wiring from the push buttons are hidden in the handlebars and headlamp cowl. The m-lock system also from Motogadget is used to activate the ignition with a key FOB or with a smartphone App. All seals and gaskets were replaced. Clean Texas title.
