32,000 miles, garaged, essentially rust-free bike. Clean gas tank inside. Very nice Claret red with silver scallops and gold hand applied factory pinstripes. Bridgestone tires. Chain & Sprocket in good shape. Starts right up and runs smoothly, no smoke or weird noises, shifts smoothly through all gears up and down, Brakes work normally.
Many Factory accessories that include Triumph windshield, Triumph Leather saddlebags, very comfortable Triumph King & Queen seat.
Non-factory accessories include Norman Hyde Center stand, 12-volt portable air pump, Battery tender, chrome saddlebag supports, TEC adjustable rear shocks, Chrome rear package carrier, Bar end weights, folding shift lever, removable 12volt and USB outlet, Harley style mirrors on New Bonneville adapters, High performance horn, Bright LED accessory Tail and Brake lights. Brake lights flash then steady.
These 790 & 865cc Bonneville engines are considered “bullet-proof” when maintained, easily attaining over 100,000 miles.
The Triumph New Bonneville is suited to many purposes. It can be a dependable touring bike, a commuter, a cafe racer, a Brat style, Urban Scrambler, you name it, the possibilities are as endless as the owners. A change of Seat, Bars and pipes can totally transform a bike.
Old school riders like myself who also rode a Triumph in the 70’s were very happy when the New Bonneville came out. Now, a good-looking bike that is dependable and didn’t leak and vibrate. For the “traditional” types, the sweet years are: 2001-2008, Made in England, Air-cooled, 360 degree firing order and Carbs!
